ED SULLIVAN'S ROCK N' ROLL REVOLUTION chronicles the progression of American rock & roll in the 1960s. The filmmakers trace the roots of this progression to the British Invasion specifically the Beatles' historic performance on the Ed Sullivan show. Through live performance footage and interviews this program demonstrates how the outstanding popularity of the fab four opened doors for the Rolling Stones Herman's Hermits The Animals and the Hollies. Once this groovy new direction was established a number of American musical acts followed suit such as The Beach Boys The Mamas and the Papas the Byrds James Brown and Bob Dylan. This truly inspired timeless documentary captures the key players during a rich period in music history. Hosted by Michelle Phillips (of the Mamas and the Papas) and Graham Nash (of Crosby Stills and Nash) ED SULLIVAN'S ROCK N' ROLL REVOLUTION also features interviews with legendary performers Jackson Browne Bruce Springsteen Bob Dylan and Brian Wilson.
